Tri Kopy

The painting captures a view from Žiarska Valley toward the ridge of the Western Tatras – already on the winding road leading to Žiarska chata, the scenery opens up to the peaks of Tri kopy, which I’ve brought to life on this canvas. I’m especially fond of Smutné saddle in winter – when everything is covered in snow and you can ski or ski tour beneath Tri kopy. That’s why the painting is set in winter tones, yet remains softly neutral, brightening up any room while its reflections beautifully enliven the interior.
